Project scope, design considerations, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements — all in one place.

Project Overview

Participants are free to select projects such as museums, memorials, libraries, convention centers, spiritual centers, or multi-purpose community spaces. The key requirement is that the chosen design addresses the challenges and aspirations of the people it serves, promoting inclusivity, accessibility, and sustainability. The design must integrate seamlessly with its surroundings, reflecting the cultural, historical, or environmental context of the site.

Submission Details

Required Content

Site plan showing orientation & connection to the building.
Floor plans illustrating spatial arrangements and zoning.
Large-scale drawings of innovative design details.
3D perspectives and rendered views.
Building/site elevations and sections.
Material selection and construction techniques.

Format Requirements

Maximum of 2 A1-size sheets in PDF format.
File size must not exceed 50MB.
No names, logos, or institutional identifiers on the sheets.
Mark sheet with Unique ID Number in the top right corner.

Eligibility

Open to all undergraduate architecture students from any year.

Individual or team entries accepted, max 4 participants per team.

Competition Rules

Only undergraduate architecture students are eligible to participate.

Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered for evaluation.

The registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

English is the designated official language for all competition-related communication.

Selected participants may be required to provide a detailed explanation of their design to the jury.

Only registered participants who have submitted a project will be eligible for certificates.

DiscoverArch retains the right to adjust the competition schedule. Participants will be notified promptly.

Upload your completed design proposal in the specified format — max 2 A1 sheets in PDF, under 50MB — before the final deadline.

Jury Evaluation

Our distinguished jury panel meticulously reviews every submission against six key criteria for concept, sustainability, and presentation.

Winning entries are publicly announced, celebrated, and awarded their prizes. Results are shared globally across our platforms.
